Bluffy Lake Memories

BLUFFY LAKE HISTORY - I am looking for something fun to do this winter. I want to put together old pictures, stories and history of Bluffy Lake Lodge into a book for each cabin. I would like to go back to the beginning that Bluffy Lake Lodge became a camp. Anything would be helpful. Again looking for pictures, stories and history of Bluffy Lake Lodge. Or even that great catch! If you don't know how to scan them, you can send them to me and I will send them back. Or you can email me at info@bluffylake.com. Or take photos with your cellphone and send them to my phone 218-536-0567. Thank you ...

Bluffy Lake Memories

We are back in the U.S. If you need to call us, our phone number is 218-536-0567. Here is pictures of Bluffy Lake Lodge with minimal mowing/upkeep. We did a lot of cleaning up but need to get a larger mower for the back of the camp. Good thing we have a brush cutter to cut the new cuttings. I feel sorry for any U.S. citizens that has property in Canada and can't get there for upkeep. We also had our personal boat trailer stolen. The security cameras that we had on site were turned off the end of June and never restarted. We are very discouraged that this has happened. Our trust has been broken! ...

Bluffy Lake Memories

Well posting that our boat trailer was stolen didn't return it. So now I am posting a picture of the vehicle that came in this spring. I am not accusing him but no one should be entering Bluffy Lake Lodge unless they have permission. ...

Bluffy Lake Memories

Today is our first full day at Bluffy Lake. We will be here for a while. I will post when we return to Minnesota. We aren't running the generator continuously because we need to isolate for 14 days which means we need to survive on gas, diesel, food, water, etc. We have had a very busy day raking and mowing. It looks like no one lived here all summer. We still have about 4 days of cleanup. If you need to call us our cell phones aren't picking up a signal. You can call the Bluffy Lake phone number 807-222-3225 and leave a message. Of course not everything can be wonderful. Someone decided to steal our boat trailer. We have a picture of a newer Dodge extended cab that came in which is probably the person. If it wasn't they shouldn't have been coming in with the camp closed. Hope they enjoy it! It seems that people don't understand when the camp is closed - it is closed. The same thing happened last year but they left a note that they only wanted to look at the lake and took down the gate. I guess I am from the old country and my mom and dad taught me right from wrong. Sorry this is lengthy. Probably just ticked off with society at the moment. We also have had so much going on with our personal lives that just like everyone else I just need to go let off steam or go cry. With my mom passing away six weeks ago, I am not in the best mood. Again need to go for a good cry. Thanks again for listening. I also wanted to post this on my personal website regarding the stolen trailer just in case the person that took the trailer will see I have them. I have one more card to check. As far as I am concerned they are guilty for just being here without permission. Thanks again for listening! ...
